Most people with any common sense knew better than to look for him without having a real purpose in mind. He’d flamed the group anonymous simply because he was bored and annoyed by their attempts to out the lycanthropes of Atlanta. So he was surprised that some one was poking at one of his dead S/O’s. They were doing a piss poor job of being secretive about it as well. Hidden behind a VPN but exposed as they were on a public network. He toyed with the idea of just shutting them down until he realized it was Calli. He gave her few round and rounds to see if she was simply toying at something or she had a puzzle to solve.
She had work and cracked his fingers as he helped her dig in. It was a basic puzzle but a puzzle was a a puzzle. He’d even give her a deal and only tax her a little for this one. It was weird that criminals were so ignorant these days. This network was set up before the advent of the net and had all the security one would expect from an old world dinosaur. He laughed out loud as he found an account linked to another linked to another buried behind a shelf corporation and surprise, surprise linked a Cayman Island account. He smiled as he drained half the account in a blink of an eye and sent the other half to one of Calli’s accounts she could do what she wanted from there he left the doors wide she could poke around more but he was tired of the basicness of it all. Silly rabbit trix were for kids he thought before burning his trail and signing off.
Moving to the window he looked down on the courtyard wondering would he go for a run or would he go for a swim. He hadn’t been out today and needed to stretch his legs. Swim it would be he thought as he looked at the sun dancing off the pavement in heat waves so thick you could feel the heat from where he was.
