Omega
Speed of Desire:
Since Merrow are half human/half aquatic they are quite skilled at swimming in either form. However, younger merrow and those possible hurt or scared will need a little added help. Should they find themselves in dangerous territory. This power allows for quick escape whether on land or in the water, the merrow will feel the desire and heed it without question. (Can improve as the merrow ages and levels).
Eyes of Wisdom:
Many species of merrow are mixed with sharks, or various species of fish hence their unique beast form when in water. Now on land they can keep their protective coating and cover for their eyes, while still maintaining their hidden identity. This allows for the merrow to tap into their beasts natural protection of their eyes even while on land, though in more subtle ways. They will still maintain their human appearance just in a more protective manner. (Can grow as the merrow levels and ages possible becoming a more permanent attribute).
Scales of Illusion:
While most merrow don't allow their true nature to be seen on land, it can at times come in handy. With this power the merrow can use possible even just a few of their beasts scales in order to confuse and possible blind someone wishing to harm them. But utilizing the sun at just the right angle this power allows for a reflective glare to bounce off and back at anyone attacking or trying to harm the merrow. Its used as a more defensive trait and allows hopefully for a quick escape while the opponent is blinded. (Will vary on vampires and lycans as to the full affect).
Music of Confusion:
Many believe mermaids can lure sailors to their death with singing, but with this power its more a confusion than death that awaits. The song which varies for each merrow is used to confusion and disorient any the merrow wishes to get away from. Not necessarily an enemy just a annoying male/female that just doesn't take a hint. It allows the merrow to slip away while the person is temporarily confused. (Varies with vampires and lycans on the full affect).

The next step from Music of Confusion and like the omega power allows for a quick escape. Now at a higher level the merrows tune can instead of confusion put a person into a temporary sleep. (Varies on vampires and lycans as to the full affect).
Call to Aid:
Depending on the beast merrow can at times summon their bloodline to help them. Either by distracting or confusing the enemy or possible attacking if they are summoning a more deadly species. (Like a merman that shifts into a shark will summon only sharks to his aid, however only one particular species. So if your line is that of a tiger than only tiger sharks will heed the call).
Life Essence:
Its not a well known power, but some beta level merrow have the ability to suck life from those around them. Usually involving some form of touch whether by hand or my lips in a kiss they will at times take the life from another when needed. This is usually only called upon should the merrow be weak or hurt and need the energy in order to heal. (Works on lycans in varying degrees but not vampires as they aren't living).

Many merrow are blessed with poisonous/venomous attributes of their beast. However, many are not and this allows those merrow to utilize that ability without the particular bloodline. With this power a merrows nails or even their skin itself can take on a poison essence. Meaning that should the merrow wish they need only scratch or touch another to inject them with a dose of poison/venom that will render them extremely sick. (Varies as to effect on a lycan and possible little to no effect on vampires).

With this power it allows that merrow to safely remain in their beast form without any long lasting side effects. (Like retaining certain characteristics of their beast like eyes or scales).
Waving Tail:
Depending on the power behind it, this power can allow for a very wet result. Meaning that a merrow when it feels the need can while using their tail create a massive wave which it can send on their enemy. However, one must still use caution as to the degree of strength, to much and it could get out of control. Too little and you might miss completely.
Water Manipulation:
This is a level set power, meaning an alpha will need to train to fully utilize this ability to its max. But from the start they can in small doses manipulate water to their will. Creating small piercing projectiles if not a particle shield for themselves. (The effects vary with each merrow and his/her skill level and the water can come from any source).

The call itself is in the form of a special song, heard only by other merrow and its that song that alerts them that the summon is for real. No merrow no matter their level should be able to ignore the call, BUT only if they are part of the group. Rogues are exempt from answering should they wish, but must possible face the consequences if the leader deems them necessary.
